For FHE we decided to use visual aids to teach Preston the stories of the Book of Mormon. We weren't able to make the whole family last night but we did make (in order from left to right) Sariah, Lehi, Nephi, Laman, and Lemuel. I know it looks like Nephi is in a straight jacket, but that's how Preston wanted him. Maybe that's what he really looked like when his brothers tied him to the ship.

You guys are super fancy with FHE - we're lucky to read one those cartoon BOM stories to Ben. You're so cute. What a great mom you are. I've finally tracked down your new(er) blog address. We had the old address, and I figured that since you never updated it, you must have a different one. Carol told me it was on blogspot. He loved the whole tying nephi up thing. He's been running around the park pretending to be Nephi tied up. Hopefully none of the other parents will figure it out and think I tie him up.
Did you just use the little wood people you get at craft stores?
OK those are VERY cute!!! I must say that Lemuel's hair is my personal favorite, but there is a possibility that it really looked like that!

I love Preston's face in the first picture! You guys are great parents...so creative! I haven't been on here for awhile and just saw the picture of your backyard. Wow! And where DID you move to? Mountain lions? Yikes! We need to come see you...when is a good time? By the way, are dentist allowed to grow scruff? j/k it looks good Jared! Hopefully we'll see ya soon.
Preston's face is absolutely classic. That one will go on a wedding video for sure! Love the wood BOM folks. Maybe you can come do pre-school for me tomorrow. Wednesday would work, too. :) Can't wait to see you guys this weekend, and we're dying to get back up there to hang out! Love you all!
